Betty Albert

Betty Albert comes from Waswanipi, a Cree community in the Eeyou Istchee territory of central Quebec, Canada. Her interest in art and spirituality began in her 20's on Vancouver Island under the influence of her father.

Betty's inspiration is based on ceremony, dreams and the land of the big sky. Her art conveys her own growth in spirituality and conveys traditions, actions and deep spirituality, as well as encouraging viewers to experience "The Peace". Her art is characterized by the use of vibrant acrylic colors that ask us to see creation in a new way.
