Loretta Gould

Loretta Gould is a talented Mi’kmaq quilter and painter, celebrated for her use of bright, vibrant colors. Born in 1976 and raised in the Waycobah First Nation, her work reflects her deep connection to her Indigenous heritage.

Loretta’s career started as a quilter, but in 2010 she decided to make art quilts. After 2013 Loretta started painting after her machine broke down. Since then, Loretta has painted beautiful pieces and sold them in countries such as Germany, Finland, and others.
